Welcome to the Mousery!! KAW Mousery is located in a spare bedroom inside the house. My other caged animals also live in this room and I also call it the cat room since the majority of the litter boxes, their toys, and their food are located there. I am completely redoing the mousery and changing out all the cages, redoing the floor and walls, adding new shelves, ect. Please excuse the dust when seen. This is just one section of the mousery. This whole wall is where I keep my 10 and 20 gallon tanks. Above the tanks I have my homemade cages stacked on top. The ones you do see are some of my single buck cages. There are alot more acges and tanks not visable in this picture. The Tanks are used for my bucks that are in groups, some of my does, and breeding tanks. I also have my hamster in one of them as well as my gerbil.
Here you can see some of my homemade cages better. Most of what you see are single buck cages and the bigger ones on the left are some of my made doe cages.
This is yet another section of the mousery. Here are my breeder cages and more single buck cages. I am switching all my single bucks to the cages you saw in the above pictures. Please excuse the clutter, as I am in the process of adding shelves, ect to the room. As you can see, every cage has a cage card.
Another section of the mousery. Again, excuse the clutter. Here you can see the new floor I just put down. I love that floor!! In this picture you can see more single buck "holding" cages, my rats, my rabbits, and my ferrets' cages.
There is more to the mousery then you see. Once I get more pictures and finish redoing the mousery, I will get them posted.
And here are some pictures of a few of the foods I use here in the Mousery. These pictures are of Mazuri Lab Blocks, Brown's Hamster Food, and Brown's Rabbit food which I do add to their diet. And yes, Mickey does indeed pose for the camera. He insisted he be in the picture!
